Future Inventors

Stable the Table, LLC was founded to illustrate how one young person’s idea to help solve a simple problem can turn into a commercially viable reality.  The company is dedicated to supporting young people in gaining the educational skill set and confidence to make their future ideas and solutions become reality.

 

For this reason, Stable the Table, LLC is actively involved in supporting The Mechanisms robotics team, a local community-based team from Marietta, Georgia.  The Mechanisms compete in the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) program for high school aged students within the Peachtree District region coordinated by the GeorgiaFIRST organization. FIRST stands for “For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology.” FIRST is a global non-profit organization founded in 1989 by Dean Kamen, a prolific inventor, entrepreneur and advocate for science and technology.  FIRST designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in STEM while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.  Each year the program designed by FIRST focuses on a theme based challenge for teams from around the world to compete and cooperate in head-to-head competition.
